INKJET PRINTHEAD CLEANING SOLUTION
In some cases the printhead of your cartridge may need to be cleaned to break down dried ink in the nozzles of the printhead. The cleaning solution provided has been formulated for this purpose.

For black cartridges — Soak printhead in a very small amount of cleaning solution using something like a cup saucer. Let it stand for
5 minutes, then dab with a damp paper towel. Let the cartridge dry, then install in the printer and run a cleaning cycle. -
For color cartridges — Saturate a folded paper towel (at least four layers) with the cleaning solution. Place the color cartridge on the towel in a sink or disposable container for 5 minutes. Press a dry paper towel against the printhead for 10 seconds. All three colors should be visible on the paper towel. If not, repeat. Install the cartridge in the printer and run a cleaning cycle.
