- The vent plugs are on the printhead
side of the cartridges. Using the eye
screw, remove each of the plugs (1‐
black, 3‐color).
- Remove the cap from the correct
color ink bottle and insert the needle
through the appropriate vent
hole.
- SLOWLY squeeze the bottle injecting
ink into the cartridge.
- DO NOT OVERFILL.
- Replace the cap on the ink bottle
and blot away excess ink.
- Replace the vent plug by pushing it
gently into the cartridge until it is
just below the wall of the cartridge.
- Install in the printer
Note: If the cartridge leaks out the 
printhead, set
it upright on a clean paper towel for a few minutes. The towel will absorb the overfilled ink.
